DIBELS Data System Sample Reports

The DIBELS Data System provides reports in two formats: Web reports for viewing online, and PDF reports (Adobe's Portable Document Format) for downloading and printing. Some sample reports are provided here for DIBELS users who wish to see what the Data System provides.

School and District PDF Reports combine the major reports for a school or district into a single file.

• Combined School PDF Report: Histograms, box plots, class list reports, scatter plots.
• Combined District PDF Report: Histograms, box plots, district norms.

Other PDF Reports

• Summary Report: School or district progress (means and proficiency level across the school year for all measures). Also available as a web report.
• Individual Student Profiles: A one-page summary per student of DIBELS performance.
• Distribution Report: Disaggregated results by school, class, or demographics (sample shows disaggregation by school).
• Summary of Effectiveness: Effectiveness of core program and support system.
• Student Progress Monitoring Graphs (NEW): Kindergarten, Second Grade

Web Reports

• Histograms show the distribution of scores on a single test.
• Box Plots show a graphical representation of percentiles over time.
• Cross-Year Box Plots show a graphical representation of percentiles across multiple years.
• Scatter Plots graph student performance on one DIBELS measure against performance on another measure.
• Class Progress Summaries show the scores for each student in a class over an entire year.
